Powerpoint Presentations

We use a powerpoint presentation with adult audiences, such as the biology class of Professor Con Slobodchikoff at Northern Arizona University, the Wilderness Society and Christians for the Earth at Federated Community Church.  The presentation covers the history of Gunnison's prairie dogs in Arizona, some interesting facts on their biology and their crucial role in the prairie ecosystem, as well as the relocation work of Habitat Harmony.

Wildlife Disclosure Statements

In conjunction with Coconino County, we have distributed Wildlife Disclosure Statements to potential homebuyers in Coconino County.  The brochures, tailored to specific developments involved, provide information on local wildlife to buyers in previously undeveloped areas, where interaction with wildlife is greatest. 

Prairie Dog Brochure

Another tool for adult education is the prairie dog brochure we designed in cooperation with Northern Arizona University and Arizona Game and Fish Department, "Our Prairie Dog Neighbors."  This colorful brochure helps acquaint the public with basic information on Gunnison's prairie dogs.  You may view the brochure by clicking on the brochure.
